I’ve had the chance to compare Zoominfo with another platform directly, and for me it really came down to cost versus quality. Zoominfo has a massive database, but in practice I often ran into outdated contacts or incomplete profiles. The alternative to zoominfo I tried Generect had a slightly smaller reach, but the accuracy was higher and the interface felt cleaner and faster to use. Another big difference was the pricing model - Zoominfo locks you into pretty heavy contracts, while the Generect was more flexible and affordable, which made it easier for our small team to adopt. Both tools have strengths, but if you’re looking at real-world usability and value, I found the alternative more practical day-to-day, especially when it came to keeping lead data fresh and reducing wasted outreach.

Has anyone here tested different platforms side by side with Zoominfo? I’m trying to figure out if there’s a tool that can actually compete in terms of data accuracy and usability, but also without the crazy high subscription fees. Curious to hear from people who have hands-on experience and not just vendor claims.
