The greater occipital nerve block is 64405. What is the best code to use for a lesser occipital nerve block?

Great question!

64405 = Injection, anesthetic agent; greater occipital nerve

It appears CPT code 64420 - Injection, anesthetic agent; intercostal nerve, single

is the code that is being suggested for the lesser occiptial nerve block!
