Hi there,
I would appreciate any help with cross coding for an implant repair procedure code D6101. The patient's medical plan has covered the extraction and placement of implants due to genetic condition Q82.4 and is now needing a repair procedure due to the condition. Any help is greatly appreciated.

D6101 - debridement of a peri-implant defect or defects surrounding a single implant, and surface cleaning of the exposed implant surfaces, including flap entry and closure
There is not a direct crosscode we are aware of, so you can either bill the "D" code on the medical claim (many insurers these days will process "D" codes when they are medically necessary services), or you can use the CPT cods below and include a narrative report describing the procedure:
41899 - Unlisted procedure, dentoalveolar structures
